   FINALSCRATCH 1.5

Final Scratch Software Updates

To update Final Scratch, download the update files from the links below. Save them to your desktop or another location on your drive that is convenient.

You must apply the updates in order, and one at a time.

Place the .zip archive file in the 'fs_updates' folder located on the partition where FinalSratch is installed.

Reboot into FinalScratch. If you have experienced an issue of the kernel freezing, you must use the bootable CD to apply the updates until you are able to work in FinalScratch. Otherwise you can use the update button on the FinalScratch desktop.

If you have applied update 1.0.7, you will notice a third menu option, which was not there before. This option is stated as 'finalscratch [fbdev].' If you were experiencing difficulty with your video card prior to 1.0.7, choose the [fbdev] option in your boot menu to use FinalScratch. Ignore the other 'FinalScratch' boot option.
